Groups

Hold up to 75 cabins with no deposit required outside the recall window, lock in your voyage fare and promotional offer at the moment you create the Group, and choose between a complimentary cabin (one for every 16 cabins booked) or a 2% bonus commission. Your Sailors receive a per-cabin Group Bar Tab and Group Dining Concierge support. Groups are fully combinable with My Next Virgin Voyage — combinability with other promotions is subject to each promotion's individual terms & conditions.

Groups start at 8 cabins and can scale up to 75 cabins. We classify them in two tiers:

• Small Group: 8–16 cabins
• Large Group: 17–75 cabins

No. You can hold up to 75 cabins with zero deposit, as long as you're outside the recall window (120 days for Small Groups, 150 days for Large Groups). Once you name a cabin, the standard 20% voyage fare deposit applies for that booking.

You'll receive an email reminder a few days before your recall window closes — 120 days out for Small Groups, 150 days for Large Groups. Any unnamed or undeposited cabins will be released on the recall date. Virgin Voyages reserves the right to recall cabins at any time, subject to terms and conditions.

Maintain an average of one cabin named and deposited for every 8 cabins held, per month – starting from the date you create the Group shell. The average is what matters — if you name two cabins in one month, you've covered the next month's minimum on a 16-cabin block. Falling below this average puts your held space at risk of release.

At the moment you create the Group. The voyage fare and promotional offer in effect on that day are locked for the cabins you've blocked. If you add cabins to an existing Group after creation, the new cabins are priced at the prevailing rate.

16% commission on voyage fare (we don't apply NCFs to our voyage fare, so this is true net commission). Once your Group hits 16 named and deposited cabins, you also unlock your Tour Conductor benefit:

• One free cabin for every 16 cabins booked, OR
• An additional 2% bonus commission on voyage fare (uncapped).

Group Sailors receive a per-cabin Group Bar Tab based on voyage length:

• 10+ nights: $200 per cabin
• 6–9 nights: $100 per cabin
• 5 nights or less: $50 per cabin

Additionally, they’ll receive Group Dining Concierge support: up to 3 dinner reservations on 10+ night voyages, 2 on 6–9 night voyages, and 1 on voyages of 5 nights or less. On select sailings, Sailors also receive a Group savings of 5–15% off voyage fare.

Yes. The Groups Program is fully combinable and stackable with My Next Virgin Voyage. Individual promotional offers may have their own combinability terms — always check the T&Cs of the specific promo.

Yes. Existing bookings on the same sailing — including My Next Virgin Voyage bookings — can be added to your Group as FIT (Flexible Independent Travel) bookings, regardless of cabin type. To qualify, the existing booking must:

• Be on a Base, Essential or Premium voyage fare
• Have a Sailor name assigned and at least the deposit taken

FIT bookings count toward your Group size and your Tour Conductor benefit. The Sailor's existing price, perks, and onboard credit stay exactly as they were — nothing changes for them.
Note: FIT bookings do not receive the Group Bar Tab or Group savings, since those apply only to new bookings made into the Group.

Up to 5 active Groups at any given time, with a maximum of one Group per sailing. Inside 120 days of sail, the hold mechanism is replaced by full payment at the time of booking — you can still create a Group, it just needs to be paid up front.

Nothing changes. Groups booked under our previous programs prior to June 3, 2026, retain their original benefits and recall windows — unchanged and protected, regardless of size.
